When I was a kid I fell skateboarding so hard I slipped two lumbar discs and had GNARLY sciatica. Something that really helped was a “pigeon pose” on an elevated surface like a couch (somewhat akin to photo attached). If you start getting numbness in your foot you probably should seek out a neurologist or PT because that nerve impingement can become really problematic.

That looks pretty similar to some hip extension stretches I do. They generally keep it under control, but I've been doing some physical exertion the last few days, must have tweaked something.

It’s an unbelievably debilitating pain. Sometimes immobilizing. I feel for you bro. Hope it gets better.
