@corndalorian, repost this repost of your repost meme.
In your opinion, what is the etiquette for reposting yourself on nostr? Because tbh I feel a bit weird about it 🤷
#AskNostr
Keep doing it. The emotions will fade 🧡🫶
We all do it sooner or later 😂
It feels weird at first but you get used to it, lol. My personal “etiquette” is that I may repost a couple times within the first 24 hours, and then I give it up and move on to new thoughts/memes. I have a handful of older posts that I feel stand the test of time, and those I will repost every so often. But for the most part, I just let them live or die on their own, especially after that first 24 hour window.
I went through a time of reposting everything.
Now I want time-delayed reposts - I reckon that’s the best way forward
Yea, automating it would make it easier. That’s essentially what I do manually to try and catch different crowds/timezones throughout the day.
It’s doable.
Client devs don’t care or think about it.

Devs in general are not normal users, and I’ve found that most of them don’t care to listen to normal users.
Sad but true.
Devs here have direct access to users, they could build for them.
They choose not to
I’ve noticed this too. There’s a dichotomy between what users want/need vs what devs want to develop. Not always but a lot of times

Lol, it’s like any other business/product. If devs want people to use their apps, then they need to listen to the people using them. If they only want to build for themselves, and that’s ok too, then they need to stop pretending they want customers.
I think that's the difference between a project that a developer is working on independently and a company that is developing a product. Most Nostr apps/clients look like projects not companies.
