This bitcoin scarcity argument is very disingenuous.
Are assets really scarce when they can be divided into 100 million pieces?

I asked this question also and the answer is: if you divide a pizzs in million slices, do you have more than one pizza ?🍕
Yes. Bitcoin is forever only one pizza and you can have a slice. Fiat is infinite pizzas. 🍕
Let’s say Bitcoin is a Large Pizza. If you slice the pizza into 21 slices, it’s still 1 large pizza. If you slice each piece into 100 very small squares (slices) you still only have 1 large pizza.
Definitely
Too further make the point. Consider all the gold we have today like a large pizza as well. But there is a huge unknown amount of gold in the earth. As well as gold on other planets and asteroids.
Well, each of those are like adding another pizza to the party. Now you have 100 large pizzas. That is inflation.
Same with fiat money. Except a new pizza can be made and have zero cost to make. That means those in control of the pizza control the world.
Okay, but let me ask you, what’s that little plastic thingy they put in the box to keep the cheese off the lid in your analogy? 🤣

That is your own personal node.

Followed back 🫂
🤣⚡️🍕
Cheese node!!!
Bleib Gesund she goes, but you are an aids infected leprechaun I said.
🎚️
💌
is this a joke here?
Yes the pizza topper was joke!
It’s fun to meme here.
But a node is a very important part of Bitcoin.
I would recommend #[7] as a great follow here and on YouTube. So many great tutorials for Bitcoiners at any level.
Grab a coffee, sit back, and learn
The node meme was funny but also true. Your node and it’s validation of transactions keeps the centralized “box” from touching your cheese.
Divine comedy type of humoring
Did you get the punchline?
🤭
🍋
🫂
Trustlessness?
Its saying peazza (world peace through pizza)
division has nothing to do with scarcity FYI in fact, you want money to be as divisible as possible because then it’s more useful (gives you a bigger spectrum to chop it up to buy things are different prices)
Scarcity refers to the total amount of the currency.
If a currency is inflationary it is less scarce than a fixed currency which is less scarce than a deflationary currency.
Theoretically bitcoin is fixed but practically it’s deflationary because a little is lost every year.
(Btw if anyone thinks I’m wrong please let me know 🙏)
21,000,000 Bitcoin, or 2,100,000,000,000,000 satoshis. Makes no difference. The cap is the same.
Also, I believe all knowledge is self knowledge. For example, you can tead a 1,000 page book about how to ride a bicycle. But until you physically get on a bicycle and ride one, you don’t know how to do it.
Same with bitcoin. That’s why we zap here. ⚡️
There will be only 2.1 quadrillion satoshis (absolute digital scarcity) which are infinitely divisible if needed.
