Guess I’m on my own trying to figure all of this out (Sats and zapping set up and purpose, etc) but that’s how I’ve gotten to where I am today. Wouldn’t have it any other way.

Nostr is gonna be so fun in the future when ppl non coiners come in and they also want hobby relays like cars biking fishing cooking relays and zap to watch a video and or merchants start using nostr better yet bitcoins own marketplace right through #nostr.. so so so much can be done.. i cant wait...

I have a wallet, yes. I just don’t get the idea of zaps and things like that. Like why would someone just randomly send me Sats? For cool or valuable posts? I’m going to sit down now with some good wine and get hip to all this. What is a zap though? I’m about to boot laptop and validate myself w the nip-5 and read up, but feel free to enlighten me 😁
Download wallet of Satoshi or alby, it will give you a lightning address that has a ‘@‘ in the name (looks like an email but it isn’t)
Copy paste that into the lightning address (or something) field in your nostr profile, that’s it

Alby works with Brave browser, yeah? I use Damus for mobile but I know Alby is a browser wallet (I do have brave on my mobile too though) setting up wallet I can use the address on mobile even though I made on laptop/desktop browser, yeah?
