I actually tried Coop a month or two ago, and just updated it, it's changed a lot since then, and I really like the new UI!

I also saw a message that I hadn’t seen in any other client, and I replied to it, though I’m not sure if the other person can see my response. That uncertainty is why I rarely use Nostr DM clients. Hopefully one day all the DM client devs can get together and agree on one or two protocols, haha

is that about not having overlapping relays with the receiver (and different clients having different relay sets) or is it giftwrap in some clients and not others?

Coop only does NIP-17 and NIP-17 is very clear: just giftwraps, NIP-44 and you must send the message specifically to the announced DM relays of the other person and receive messages at yours, so there is really no room for confusion.

Oh, it looks like you're receiving the message and coop successfully saved it into the database, but somehow failed to notify the UI. But when you re-open, all messages will be loaded from the database again, so this time you see them.

I will improve this part.
