More Iβm not remembering
Hi, I do a bit of hunting here in Alaska.
Right on. I can only imagine what the hunting is like up there. Only moose hunting?
Moose, caribou and blacktail deer. I also tried mountain goat hunting for the first time past fall. We didn't get one, but it was fun hanging out in the Alpine. How about you, whitetails and turkeys?
Mountain goat hunting is on the bucket list. Sounds incredible and difficult.
Where I'm at in Canada we tend to hunt rocky mountain elk, mule deer, white tail deer.. there is moose hunting as well but takes around 4-6 years to get a moose tag unless you're lucky with land access. The elk hunting is the most fun and a great challenge
I incorrectly assumed that OH was for Ohio.
Goats are no joke. I watched two shootable billys from 400 yards away, for hours, trying to figure out how to recover them without breaking neck. In the end I decided to pass.
Yeah, I didnt think of the Ohio confusion.. I may have been overly keen/nerdy to try for a proof of work npub. And I hope the future is bright orange for the kids, hence Orange Horizon (OH).
Damn, that would be painful to sit and watch legal billys. I know the feeling.. being on the edge and trying to decide the right move. But if they couldn't be recovered, sounds like it was the right move.. experience in the back pocket for next yr
