What (perfectly valid) reasons are there *not* to run #linux on the primary laptop/desktop in 2024?
Excluding all of these, which are also valid:
* Specific games don't run
* Windows applications required
* Missing hardware driver
* It's someone else's computer
* Steep learning curve
* Don't like it
* Never heard of it
* Lack of technical support nearby
* Bad previous experience
* Prefer Apple hardware
Interested in other reasons.

Adobe suite.
Agreed especially for people who are totally reliant on it for work and don't have time to learn a new set of tools.
There is no good reason to not run #Linux Mint Cinnamon on your laptop or desktop, none.
You can dual boot it. Install it on a 64 gig USB 3.0 thumb drive. You can download a live DVD or thumb drive to check your hardware for compatibility.
You can run it from a virtual machine like virtualbox. You simply can't go wrong with it. Run #Timeshift religiously..🐧
Linux is ready but the creative apps might not be up to standard for certain professionals.
