I’m not a speakerdeck developer haha (or should I just make browser extension?).

BTW, I can encourage Japanese Nostr developers to prepare English slides.

browser extension sounds like a great idea. trying to use Amethyst to translate notes but some translations are not great, LibreTranslate in snort has some issues too. i'm not a native English speaker but is the language most comon in nostr, if Japanese devs know it would be cool if they post about their projects in English. I'd also love to see some of them claim bounties.

It's difficult to translate colloquial expressions... We need to read the context of the timeline. Using GPT-4, which is a hot topic right now, might be a good idea.

Japanese people don't try to speak English very often. Therefore, I feel that they (include me) have a unique culture in Nostr.

this is fine and i love it. looking forward to have better tools to communicate and engage with each other using our native languages.

Yes, I agree. I strongly hope that technology will solve that 😎

Will build a Babel again

mmm I think that the best path forward is embracing English as an open protocol for comunicating with all peoples, native for local stuff.

I thoght like you years ago, but when I started using english I've never felt so connected and so borderless. One would think that using other language bring people appart but it couldn't be more opposite in my experience at least.

I'm Spanish speaker native, I just learned on extra language and I now can talk with the whole world!. I know that having those tools will close the gap for those who don't speak the common language but still
