So instead genetically modifying humans why not modify mosquitos so that as soon as they sting humans and get some human blood it kills them.
Im sure one protein can be harmful to them right?

Fun fact about that...a lot of the work on genetically modified mosquitoes make in such that the effects of the change only happen after a couple generations, so the modified genes have a chance to spread first 🦟🪦
