Did they stop paying taxes?

Not voting (legal) is not equivalent to not paying taxes (illegal). If you can get away with it good for you. If you think 25% or more are intelligent enough to not pay taxes AND not get caught, then you're not intelligent enough to evade taxation.

Cash and XMR fix this.

When I was a kid, every tradesperson cheated somewhat.

You’re completely stuck in the matrix.

“Illegal” as defined by the dominant criminals doesn’t mean anything.

The people who declare what is illegal today are illegitimate criminal rulers. It’s not about “getting away with it”. It’s about disempowering an illegitimate criminal enterprise with purpose.

You CANNOT do that by voting in their fake elections. If you can’t understand that you have no fucking cute what is really going on.

"You're stuck in the matrix"

"Where a government has come into power through some form of popular vote, fraudulent or not, and maintains at least an appearance of constitutional legality, the guerrilla outbreak cannot be promoted, since the possibilities of peaceful struggle have not yet been exhausted."

- Che Guevara, "Guerilla Warfare", p 51.

Voting cannot bring down the rulers any more than graffiti can. But it can annoy them, force them to overplay their hand, grant opportunities to organise, waste elite resources, and encourage elite infighting.

Attacking the money is much more likely to meaningfully change things, as is organisation outside the system, but I'm a "belt and suspenders" kind of guy.

If they tried to kill Trump, twice, then voting for him was clearly not entirely a waste of American's time...

But did they really try?

Well, they may have been aiming for the hairpiece, but a fat orange corpse was very likely. No one is good enough to graze an ear at 130m without a serious probability of a kill.

Maybe, or maybe it was someone expected to miss by alot that got lucky enough to miss by a little.

Bell curve, muh man. If they missed by a little instead of a lot they could very easily have not missed at all. The slightest change in the breeze...

Very true, but figureheads aren't that valuable & not in control, they can be replaced.

Also true, but figureheads with decades of brand development behind them are hard to find.

Yes, Trump is a vile individual and loves to frolick with swamp creatures, but I don't think even Trump is in reliable control of Trump. Never a real team player.

That last appears to be a difference worth killing for.

No doubt but he is still largely irrelevant, the position is largely irrelevant...

Here is the question, when was the last time that position actually had a real ability to derail the real powers plans & did it stop them?

We all know the answer to the last bit.

I think the powerful are growing more insecure, intolerant and frightened with each generation.

Eisenhower ruled, JFK tried to.

What was Trump going to do to them? Tweet?

(Its not only the masses who have degenerated...)

I'd argue it goes back alot further than that, Eisenhower was theirs.

It has always had the power to work for them, against them is a different story.

Eisenhower was a domineering and difficult man, with no private vices, and the Presidency was far from his first rodeo. He said "no" even to elites, often and harshly, even though he was philosophically on their team. Mostly... His MIC speech was a peek behind part of the curtain.

There hasn't been a remake of that movie. He wouldn't rise beyond Lt. Col. today.

No he probably wouldn't.

He did at least give warning, I'll give him that.

Kind of shows you how useless the position is though, the best that could be done was to give a brief warning...

If you read "Confessions of a Nuclear War Planner", among other books, Eisenhower did manage to slow the progression of the disease while in office, thus allowing an economic boom, infrastructure development, and real wage increases. And he avoided being corralled into global nuclear war more than once.

But yes, his warning was his only lasting achievement.

I don't think they care about the bandaids too much because they can just rip them off again a little later.

And the machine in the background now is exponentially bigger & worse.

I'd argue the last time they really last had the ability was back in the 1800s.

Certainly not after the Fed was created...

Hit or miss, they win...

The real puppet masters play the long game.

They do if they are disciplined and sober.

There is a lesson for us here...

Taxation isn't a product of the current government. It's been a constant feature of the nation and society since its founding. And without taxation the government wouldn't have any ability to actually govern. So, if you want to blame someone for taxation, you need to go back the founding of the nation.

If you want a system that somehow operates without a revenue stream, I think you'd have propose that to the people, and convince enough of them to form some other system of government. And you'd also have to prepare for war with the current government because they're not just going to go off into that goodnight.

They'll label you insurrectionists, seditionists, and traitors, and use the power of the military to put down what they see as your rebellion against the state. Just being honest about how this would play out.

Now you're talking! That's the "non-voting" that matters. Taxes, and service in the security forces.

And another good example of non-voting: Boycotting the DMV by removing your license plate!

Witty, and pointed.

But now I'm thinking about removing other people's plates, and swapping them around... :)
