It’s crazy that smoked a pack a day for 22 years. That’s over 160,000 cigarettes 🤯
I broke my leg and haven’t had a cig since! Celebrating over a week of being tobacco free! nostr:note15j3k8yy7gg58rvjqaz6q9dtk0n28yul9vnff7mf4mmnd9c9hdnwq6f7zdw

Good for you! I took me many try’s but finally stopped after art school. You can do it!! 🤘🏼💜
How long have you been cig free? Do you still have an urge to smoke one every now and then?
Well since 2009 ish. I do still have the urge. Smoke weed couple time week so that does help 😂 but I chew lots of gum still, normal gum never liked the nicotine gums. When I stopped buying them was when it really helped, saving money become more rewarding just wish I knew about #bitcoin back in those days.
Keep going. I’ve a couple of friends who I never thought would kick the habit. They’re still off them. If you can have a couple of drinks and not smoke then you’re home and hosed. Well done sir
I’ve been alcohol free for 7 years!
Super - I’m about 14 months off it. I found giving up alcohol tougher
Bravo 🙌, how long did you smoke for? Cigarettes are the most addictive thing out there more addictive than heroin
I was smoking on and off from about 15 to 45. Though from my mid 20s mainly only when drinking (which was frequently enough!). I was never a hardcore smoker and was lucky enough to not want any the next day
Congrats! It's a tough habit to kick. Stay strong 💪🏽
Always told myself I would quit but never knew how
Same. Having kids helped but that just pushed me to vape instead. And that's a whole other can of worms... it's too easy and end up constantly smoking more than ever.
Maravilloso, abrazo por eso. ✨
INSPIRATIONAL

You can keep it up. I quit in 2002, still going strong. I can even enjoy a cigar once in a while now with no lingering craving.
Was thinking it would be nice to celebrate my 1 year with a cigar! You’re going to have recommended some for me!
You know, sometimes I like the expensive ones, often with fine Scotch Whisky and Belgian chocolate, but the pipe tobacco Black and Mild wood tips have a fantastic flavor bouquet.
