If you're detrained, gains are insane. That's what's driving most tRaNsForMatIoNs too.

A wanna be influencer builds muscle for 3 years, get big, slacks 6 months and gets detrained and a little chubby on purpose, then cuts back on food and lifts hard again.

Muscle memory -> enormous gains while recomping. Now go viral with your miracle transformation story and sell bullshit to unknowing average Joe: "Sixpack in 6 weeks".

You're looking at 3 years of work homie, can't be done in 6 weeks.

I've not trained well for about a year until recently. First because of an injury, then because of bad habits. Went back to the gym about 2 months ago and all lifts are exploding up. Better than newby gains. Almost back at PR levels and can see it in the mirror. Muscle memory is a thing, wow!

6 to 8 months is enough time for gainz

Sure, for a solid base. You can push past though. Genetic limit should be reached after 2 to 3 years of optimal training, depending on potential. But that's not needed for health and most average Joe's ambitions.
