To all LN node runners!

Are you still rebalancing?

Why not adjust fee settings AND

maxHTLC's settings!

Most LN runners DONT adjust the maxHTLC setting, so a channel with 1Msats capacity and only

100ksats on your side is treated by the gossip

as if it can route 1Msats (default maxHTLC is channel capacity!)

Unfortunately the topic is not that straightforward. There are nuances to it and a broad area. Tina if discussions on this topic over couple years now in Plebnet and you use an approach that works for your objectives.
