Increased power gives you a better chance. But most are pool mining so they'd get the benefits of a larger percentage of the pool's winning. But increasing to say 160k hashes from 80k hashes per second, like a Jade would give, takes you from near zero to still near zero of a chance.

Ok, but the chances are higher 🤨

That’s all I said. I understand the nuance of the statement I made. I’m not likely to win, but my chances are higher.

But your action requires energy and cost. Why do that? It's a drop in the ocean of hashpower.

Rationality has nothing to do with our conversation. You said I didn’t have a higher chance which is statistically false. You are rounding.

Yeah, I'm rounding. You have a 0.000000000% of winning a block. Double that and you still have a 0.000000000% of finding a block.

If the chances are 0 then how are solo miners winning blocks?

It's a rarity and they probably have somewhat significant hashpower. Not mining on CPUs.

GPU mining is horrible for bitcoin mining. You need to take your AI ass back to school and listen to people that are smarter than you.

I said CPU. You're talking about mining on a RaspPi.

Dude you said NOT CPU mining. GPU mining is really the only competitor. Enjoy your weekend.

Yes, people getting blocks are not mining on CPUs. That's what I meant.

You need to read a book. That’s all ASIC mining is.

Lol at you thinking an ASIC and a CPU are identical. Trying running an OS on your mining ASIC, dipshit.
