Yes when I was part of a pool I would get sats that corresponded with my hashpower as part of the pool. So I was getting around 0.00015% per block when the pool found one.

Now I am mining completely on my own so I get nothing until I hit a block... But then I will get the full block reward 😬😜

My tiny home miners only burn 100W energy each so it's ok for me to get the full cost while earning up my home, in the house that I hit a block on my own... Current chances with my setup is 1 in 2,500 years... So not likely 😅

It's a very heavy dispute to solve a block, right? I think it's very interesting, I just don't go into it because the expenditure on energy and equipment is very high.

Yes exactly, unless if I get ridiculously lucky and I find a block, but normally I will not make money from it. For me those Avalon Nano 3 are little heater devices that warm up parts of my home which I needed to warm up anyway so in that sense it doesn't cost more. And when mining in a pool you get some sats back. So for me it made sense to get into it. But I wouldn't do it with a big and expensive mining device at home...
