good for backup and remote locations for sure

but diesel generators are pretty reliable, the design of the engine is perfect for a relatively constant load and they scale down better than steam powered

Not just for backup. I haven’t been to a gas station or paid an electric bill in years and my cells are still like new. Of course this doesn’t work in Portland 🤣

I have an ice generator also in case, loud and stinky, but yes effective for emergencies.

Pro tip: Install cells yourself for a fraction of the price.
