The best iPhone setup is anything on a stolen iPhone
Apple doesn't allow any really good setups so the least bad you can get is at least harming them with theft instead of supporting them with revenue while using nostr badly

I am on the same page as you, I detest the iOS ecosystem and Apple as a corporation
but I got normie friends who wont ditch it AND want to use nostr, shall we gatekeep their access to an open network? start blocking request from iphone useragents?

I'm not the one stopping them from using nos2x-fox or anything like that
I'm saying they can use whatever they want but they should do it on a stolen iPhone since Apple won't allow it to include nos2x-fox or anything like that
after some digging you are 100% correct there is no secure ios setup right now
Amber on air gapped android seems best option from what I see.
Sorry for being snappy in my first response Digit <3
Understandable, cool to see your response 🤙
If I had better advice for onboarding them I'd give it, but all I know would be sending them njump.me links to posts they'd find interesting until they start using a web client
There is no Amber signer equivalent for iOS yet. nostr:nprofile1qqszw70nm86zcl0wzlcwd0xulzdgl82e95v78vdm6fl0rnlarfle35gpvemhxue69uhkv6tvw3jhytnwdaehgu3wwa5kuef0dec82c3309sh2mpcdvcr2wfnxumh2wtvwd6nvdmyv5mhjd3nxamng6n5vajh2amrd45r2m3hxuursmpk0phxcmnjvaenxarkdfkkv0mzwfhkzerrv9ehg0t5wf6k2qgcwaehxw309aex2mrp0yh8xmn0wf6zuum0vd5kzmqpg3mhxue69uhkgc35v4nx7cn4wvexjmr5w3mn2em0dd3hwcmtxdhkkcmjxsmnv6r3ddkhjutyw4hhj7tyd3hny63hd95kwetgddukgtnvda3kzmqjpsscg is working on one, though.
came across this today
Nostore is not an Amber equivalent. It is a Nos2X equivalent, if anything. Only works with web apps since it is a browser extension.
