The leaves have finally dropped from the trees. Fall is realistically over. We're waiting for snow.

This is shoulder season in Colorado. Everything is brown. It's too cold for summer sports, but there's not enough snow to transition to skiing.

The air feels different once the last leaves hit the ground. Thinner. Sharper. Maybe it's the silence that gives it away. Without leaves rustling, you notice how quiet the world is. Even the birds have moved on for winter.

Find a moment of stillness and the whole world feels paused.

Ahead lies the holiday chaos.

Behind is a summer job well done.

Right now, nothing.

It's a season of anticipation and waiting. A quiet void in the year.

Take a moment to seek its stillness.

And it’s beautiful to witness the seasons. Love it 🥰

I like this time of year, and it's been a real nice fall this time. It's a great time to chop wood, get out the shovel and work on swales.

When do you prune your vines?

March/April-ish

Sounds like winter gloves, neoprene under helmet hat, biking weather to me!!! Celebrate a year well done sir.

My favorite time of year for mountain biking, Front Range or Western Slope. Weather is perfect and nobody else out.

It's true. Was thinking water sports. Warm days this time of year are great for biking

Is it shoulder season because the shoulder harvest is about to start? I could use a size 12 left shoulder, mine's pretty worn out but I don't want that new shoulder smell so if anyone has a slightly cried-on one, I'd be in the market for it.

I love CO & fine reflections, recharge time for what‘s to come ✨ 🍂 ❤️
