After very preliminary testing, I strongly prefer the results of llama 3.3 over deep seek R1 70B.
Deep seek just talks about how to reach an answer, while llama actually gives the answer.
I got decent text replies but the generated source code was bullshit

Yeah the rust code it spits out is way overcomplicated
No drama, go for llama 3.3
For code, nothing beats qwen2.5-coder imo. It's also Chinese though
