Kinda agree. Isn't it currently more of a concept than an actual thing?

It's treated like a thing by science. It's defined as a dimension usually, which is misleading.

Gotcha. Spacetime continuum displacement is probably a better description/definition for time travel then.

I think I understand what you are hinting at, but would like to put words to it.

That's a tough one.

I always think of time in cycles or circles. Easily observable and natural is the seasons, stars, moon, etc. they revolve in nearly perfect sequence, but never quite the same.

In a way each "decision" changes their path too
