Our company recently hired a girl straight out of a top college, good grades, etc and she didn't know basic shit like files and folders. IT is constantly having to basically teach her how to use a computer because she's only used smartphones and tablets prior to entering the workforce. It's insane.

This is worse considering that even on a smartphone, I know how a file system and subfolders work.
Oversimplification, ESPECIALLY on Crapple devices, has ruined basic tech literacy.
