There’s nothing wrong with Twitter going paid only.

You just can’t call yourself a public town square anymore.

It’s a paid social media app, that’s all.

Nostr will happily work towards taking over the role of open public communication 🫡

It’s not a given, but won’t we need to pay for relays and clients if we want to remain ad free? I think it’s fine, as long as we can remain pseudonymous.

This will have a big impact on the usercount of twitter.
