I’m not ready to give up on Canada just yet and I hope like minded people, rather than giving up on it and moving away, will decide to stay and put in the work to make it what we want it to be, lead by example. If we’re outnumbered by socialists or anything else then I guess we’ll have to deal with that but I see normal hard working people everywhere I am and I believe in them. This whole division into us and them camps though is what I am more against than anything. Everyone needs to figure out it takes a village, we’re all in this together, so naturally socialism should form part of the framework but it can’t be everything. People need to be able to be rewarded on the basis of merit also. It’s just a balance that’s a little off base where it should be for best outcomes and remains to be seen which way the pendulum is swinging now, for me, on a national level… that’s about my thoughts on that right now 🍻🫡
