40k is a lot of fiat money for a car in my opinion.

I got lucky - leased my car bc my girl wanted to & just so happened to be peak pandemic so it was marked down heavy - the payoff after the lease was over was an incredible discount compared to if I just bought it at first.
One of the only times ever the residuals got fucked up that badly.
