I used to think the Bitcoin version of the Cassandra complex was difficult to bear, but this is a whole new level of Cassandra complex.
I know exactly what you mean and the first major topic covered in that video is an example.
One person commented "Having 5 birthmarks in places where someone in the past was stabbed as proof of reincarnation is reach imo. Unless the child knew that person personal details without being informed of it ofc but the guest was not really clear on that."
What's funny about that comment is that it betrays the commenter. I KNOW they didn't go read Dr. Stevenson's and Dr. Tucker's research because the 5 butcher knife mark example was completely fabricated by me. There were a number of real cases from Univ. of VA's research that are similar to that fabricated example, but none (as far as I know) that are exactly like what I described.
What I wanted to offer in that video was enough of a sample taste of the overall narrative, the science that supports it, and a set of religious/esoteric interpretations consistent with all of the above that people would want to go chase down the information I offered in summary format and see for themselves.
I think a lot of people REALLY don't like anything that suggests that they have allocated their time and attention in anything less than THE OPTIMAL way in their life. If they haven't studied the stuff I cover, and the stuff I cover is valid, that makes them feel like they have misallocated their time/attention up until this point. It's easier to ignore the video or declare it wrong.
Who knows, though. Maybe he was just having a bad day and snapped.
