Yeah, the lightning network can be played, but the coins in the cold wallet cannot be moved🙈
The cold wallet can be moved to create new channels to spend with on lightning but I’m not some weirdo sitting in a coffee shop for an hour for 6 confirmations
They are just not advanced enough in their bitcoin journey they will get there after realizing how much in fee"s they are paying with bitcoin on chain only transactions.
Unfortunately this is when a lot give up and go for something like litecoin(💩) or doge(💩)
L1 #bitcoin is the only true #btc as it's final settlement. Any large enough purchase should always be finalized on the base layer and IMO sent to P2PKH addresses that you generated yourself as to minimize trust in 3rd party wallets. Just my two #sats ✌️

If I wanna send 100 usd I will use you on chain #Bitcoin unless we playin. if Im sending 10 cuckbucks Im using Lightning. The amounts cutoff is your personal tradeoff. I always prefer to receive on chain Bitcoin when the amount of sats is significant. You can choose what you prefer.
See this is fine. Lightning is a tool, use it as you wish and at the length you wish. But just straight up not using it is what baffles me. I like receive on chain to never touch, the only time I touch my on-chain is to open up new channels to spend with.
I mostly like your take. But I’d also like to see more I-save-in-Bitcoin boomers to use on chain. Testing Bitcoin for 15 cents transactions so they ready for the future. Bitcoin on chain transactions are so fucking cheap for so long its a shame so few use them.
I’ll never make a lightning transaction over a few hundred dollars anyway due to my channel capacity. Everything larger is onchain
