it's because you are pretty much begging for money. People don't trust charities because they end up just robbing the money secretly. That's why I never donate to charities. Most of them are front for money laundering. Better to donate directly to the people.
It sounds funny when you say homeless children because homeless children doesn't normally exist in western countries.

Most of Africa is terrible because western & european countries have used the fiat system to rob your countries of natural resources.

I rather give the money directly to someone or buy someone's products to help them help others.
