I know I'm in the minority but I feel like physical combat sports like MMA UFC wrestling and such are so primitive. Human beings shouldn't be subjecting themselves to this in the 21st century. Its coliseum type behavior. Animalistic. Robot wars should be the norm. I think less of people that watch fighting for entertainment. Monkey brains.

Of course it is. That's the point.

It is the true spirit of humans. What we should be doing. Surviving

If it was voluntary, not slavery driven, coliseum battles would be amazing to watch.

Is there? I'm not sure about that.

We act civilized, but are merely animals in the end. Most humans aren't happy, could be because we stopped 'surviving'.

Muay Thai and BJJ are 100% the best thing I do for my mind and body. Away from work, family, life. Just me and another guy trying to use the mind, strength, and flexibility to defeat the other person in 'combat'.

Just my 2 cents...

Yes, survival entails gathering food. You gunna eat those people you eliminated? I suppose you can survive being a brute alone of it involves cannibalism. You still need to know how to cook. Unless you just want to eat raw humans.
