Idk, crumbling govt services may be the catalyst that drives bitcoin rich ancaps to create decentralized community security. Community watch systems powered by keet or nostr with some Uber like way to signal for help, with lots of nearby people always on call. There are some complicated issues with reputation & the potential for abuse, so it'd be important to find some way to address those, but overall it doesn't seem implausible. And if we can secure people against govt gangs we can secure them against basically anything. The Bundy Ranch standoff & local militia was effective. If we can network a response from enough people, or enough Bitcoiner owned drone defense tools, maybe that sort of govt opposition could be easily coordinated.

In South Africa local communities, especially the farmers already operate their own security services. The police is too unreliable and that shouldn't be a surprise to anyone because their loyalty lies with the state anyway.
