Now that bitcoin core is syncing on my StartOS i am wondering if i should use electrs or fulcrum as an indexer. I am leaning towards electrs, as i was using it before and it is available on the official Start9 registry 🤔

What would be the benefits of fulcrum?

Are they significant for my use cases ( Ashigaru and Sparrow)?

Fulcrum needs bigger databade but is all around faster and more performant. Sparrow and Ashigaru? - then 100% use Fulcrum.

Is the speed really so relevant / significant in difference?

According to the data collected on sparrow and samourai, yes. I am not so sure as I never dived deep enough to self test on my current setups.

For personal use, you don't notice any difference. If you're using StartOS, go with electrs, as that is the most stable and supported by Start9.
