Based on spot price, but implemented as Trusts. In essence, they are all one way black holes mimicing Grayscale.
Definitely not structured as a trust. It’s an etf.

If you want buy Bitcoin by ETFs will pay Fee yearly but If you buy Bitcoin by exchanges or P2P don't will pay anything
trust means they are based on equity, which in its old school meaning is "actual property rights"
that's where all this "in kind" chatter comes from... it's a trust, the res (object of the trust) is owned by who holds the title to it (the clients)
probably this is a deeper reason why there has been such a slow process to get these things to happen because if the trustee fumbles the trust they breach the trust and that's kinda cereal
