Is there an app where I can drop voice notes the way I do typed notes and they would show up in the NOSTR feed? I’m on an iPhone.

Yakbak.app is the right app, but unfortunately voice notes are not yet visible in all Nostr clients.
Seeding this to become a thing more widely. I can see why it’s not priority. I would scroll past so many voice notes. But I think once people know someone’s voice, they would tune in for transmissions.
Yes, it’s totally possible — you can upload simple MP3 voice recordings on nostr.build and share the link in your notes.
It’s a low-effort way to start. No fancy setup, just your voice.
Once people recognize it, they will tune in.

The voice notes used by YakBak and now Nostur are a different note kind than would show up in most Nostr clients' default feeds. Those clients would need to add support for that note kind.
That said, there is nothing stopping you from just recording your voice as an MP3, uploading it somewhere, and pasting the URL into a regular kind 1 note. Some Nostr clients will display it as playable within the app while others will just display the link, though.
