I hear ya

Not for much longer

i like the pdfs too... whats happening?

The main idea - PDFs are good for printing, not working with on a computer.

And, also, please don't try to publish a 400-page document as a single event. 🤦🏻‍♀️

We have NIP-62, to do this properly, people.

What’s accessible, organized, interactive knowledge?

Thank you.

Can you briefly explain what I’m looking at?

The landing page shows the index cards for publications, and if you click on one, it opens the publication up in the reading view.

It looks like one document, but it's actually a bunch of different events, displayed in order. Each chapter/section is a separate event.

Neat.

So the landing page is like a table of content.

But the content are separate events.

Are the events relevant to each other?

Nope. Completely modular, and not a linked-list. That's why the same events can be included in different indexes, which is going to allow for some seriously cool functionality.

I'm working on a demo of some of that, based upon a scientific research paper I downloaded as a PDF and transformed.

I'm going to use parts of one paper in a new paper, basically.
