looks like several clients support note deletion but Damus isn't one of them.
meanwhile, on the Fediverse, after much arguing about it, they added support for edits.

Fedi deletes have been around for ages, so long that some people purposefully disable them. Edits too.
Nostr not having consistent/clear quotes and/or reposts and which is which is hilarious to me.
i kinda like no edits/deletes just own it apologize and make another note if you make a mistake, dont have copy fedi or twitter
