Wait. Why is my bitcoin transaction so cheap?

Does this really mean #bitcoin is going to zero?

The mempool is very empty recently so not a lot of transactions happening. Makes for cheap transactions. Every time you move bitcoin there is an attached fee on your transaction so the miners mine that transaction and put it on the blockchain.
The mempools are clear at the moment, but transaction demand is like the weather. It changes often. Just because it is empty now doesn't mean it will be tomorrow or next week, and it isn't really any indication of the overall demand for Bitcoin, or whether the USD denominated price will be going up to $1m or down to $0 in the long term.
If I told you every other time fees were this inexpensive, bitcoin did indeed die, every time, repeatedly, over and over again, because that's just how dying works...
...what would you do?
Stack sats
its so cheap because im trying to send 600 over fucking LN
instead of just a regular on-chain tx that would clear in 10 fucking minutes 🙄
