No they don’t. They run on glucose

Everything runs on glucose if that’s what the fuel is. Humans lived for centuries without ample access to carbs. How can we fast for several days and not immediately die? Why do infants need mothers milk, which is nearly 100% fat?

When did we live without ample access to carbs?

And I know you can live without carbs, your body can go into ketosis to burn fat or glucogenesis, but for proper body and brain function, you need to balance your macros
