This is ALL theatre to distract from and cast doubt upon the precedent of paper documentation and slowly introduce other forms of superior documentation. As with superior title to land, they are trying to establish superior forms of title to you. I am more that my papers OR my biometrics. No one would be concerned about "illegals" without the ill-defined "crimes" and/or "benefits". I'm technically a criminal, but I've never harmed anyone or violated anyone's rights.
