Thank you for your contributions. I think it got a bad wrap because it was being used to spam NFTs into the blocks and spike fees. As more people recognize the use case, it will gain popularity again.

The JPEG contains the text, and you are paying to inscribe the jpg/text on the blockchain. Which means the information that put Assange under house arrest will be stored literally as long as the butcoin blockchain exists. Permanent record.
You can view ordinals by using programs or websites. Just decodes the image from the block.
