Bitcoin converts greed into a public benefit. The greedier you are the more you want to hoard bitcoin, the more you raise the price for everyone. Prices of stocks, real estate, the basic cost of living will drop across the board for everyone as all investments flood into Bitcoin. The greedy "elite" won't hurt people if they're raising the economic floor across the globe out of their own self-interest. Attacks just fuel the fire, but Bitcoin's game theoried "enlightened self-interest" fixes the problem and makes the fight unnecessary.
