News to me... I manually strip the metadata and theb upload to nostr build
Have you used nostr:npub1nxy4qpqnld6kmpphjykvx2lqwvxmuxluddwjamm4nc29ds3elyzsm5avr7 ?
It’s as simple as uploading the photo - metadata stripped, hosting link provided.
I guess you can then download the image from nostr.build as well and it’s clean

That was one of the first features we added for all uploads.
We even show remaining metadata (image size, resolution, etc) after an upload.
