Jimmy Carter was a good man, a good person, and a faithful Christian. His habitat for humanity work will be a legacy that lasts.
However his presidency was weak and put America last on the world stage WRT Russia, China, inflation, and national moral.
He started the department of education, boycotted the Olympics, the camp David accords set up the disputed territories and created permanent Palestinian dispute by separating the Egypt/Israel conflict from the Palestinian conflict, Egypt should have absorbed Palestine but the PLO were to violent even for Egypt.
Trump like Reagan will have a very strong America first agenda. All Americans will benefit.
