I genuinely think Damus sucks. Pretty much any other nostr client app at this point is better than it. Nostur and Primal are just my daily drivers.
Sucks how? It’s stable. Reliable. And fast. Nostur is feature rich, but the ux/ui is rough in spots and still slow compared to Damus in my experience.
Compare it to other iOS clients on features and it is severely lacking. It has a fugly fucked up way or displaying and navigating threads. It STILL doesn’t show some people’s profile pics/info even if you have been following them. Any advantage on basis of “speed” is insignificant when taken in context with all its other shortcomings. It was amazing in early 2023. It’s been stuck there ever since. Every other client has surpassed it.
Primal is good for sure. I like yakihonne too

YakiHonne is decent. A little “busy” on the UI for me personally but it does work nicely.
I don’t love Primals history of censoring and other things they are doing on the “downlow”, but that’s the nice thing about Nostr. Use whatever floats your boat.

I stopped using Primal because it does not support remote signatures... 🤷♂️
Interesting. The only time I see issues with threads is when primal was involved and screwed up something. eg. only seeing the reply and not the original message. Primal are breaking something there. I dont have the issues with the profile stuff in Damus either 🤷♂️
