Ummm, I don't use bluesky so who knows, but playing whack a mole would be better fit to describe what other platforms are doing. Social media has become a fractional distillery for right wing ideas, of you have mildly conservative ideas on one platform you get booted to the next, if you don't cut it there you get booted to the next, and on it goes until all you are surrounded by is people talking about white genocide and the great replacement. Rooting it out at its source would be letting these people make their arguments and providing counterarguments, preferably in a discussion or debate format.
Neo Nazi ideas are kind of hilariously rediculous once you actually dig into them, like "there were only 1 million names in the German Jewish yearbook before the Holocaust"; like, yea, Jewish people have been oppressed almost everywhere for like thousands of years, I wouldn't put my name on there either, its rediculous to use that as a rational for being a holocaust denier.
If Nazis have ended up on bluesky, consider it an opportunity to disabuse them of silly ideas. Its totally fair to not want to see their shit on a regular basis, but banning them won't help, block them if you don't want to see it.
