I know little of Iran.
I do know that in Iran there are business that are 600 years old and in the same family.
That, combined with the knowledge that planning is done in 3 month blocks here and only thi gs that happened in the past 2 years seems to matter or be remembered, greatly informs my perspective.
I think the most important thing to understand about how western media portrays Iran is that the US government and politicians have strong working and business relationships with the mullahs in charge of Iran but publicly the narrative is that they are enemies.
And Israel benefits most from a fractured relationship between the two countries. Both America and Iran wanted to work towards a deal this weekend specifically. The meeting was scheduled for Sunday.

US tried to set up Iran. Iran was expecting to go on 6th round of talks in Oman. Even Trump said he knew well ahead of time the attacks were happening.

I don't think the US set them up. I think Trump's team tried but Netanyahu said no and Trump couldn't stop them. And then the US just had to sit back and get pulled into another Netanyahu war. Trump's statement yesterday morning gave this away, in my opinion.
