Increase the price of spot and increases the revalued gold to theoretically have more purchasing power to buy btc.

Yeah, yeah, I know the theory. Just find the deployment strange when taking into account the tariffs on gold. Plus, I would expect this to be more of a Treasury initiative rather than a Federal Reserve one.
