People often talk about their “talent stack,” but I’m curious to hear about your “philosophy stack”
For me, it’s something like —
Middle Way / Zen Buddhism
Christianity / Way of Christ
Libertarianism / Way of Bitcoin
What’s yours?

Libertarianism of course- freedom, liberty & Free market capitalism
Very similar. I would remove the “Zen” label, move Christ up top, and add in Greek philosophy somewhere.
I dig it
But I also see Christianity as a sort of aggregation of pre-Christian thought, both Western (which we call Eastern, i.e. Greek), and Eastern (which we call Indian, i.e. Buddhism).
The Middle East was a sort of borderland between the two, and I think Christianity encompasses and expands on both, and takes both to the logical conclusion. But it's important to recognize and understand the roots of Christianity as well.
I remove the “Zen” because that's a far later Japanese variation. The word Zen comes from the Pali word jhana, but it would be odd to talk about “Jhana Buddhism”.
i knew the greeks influenced medieval christianity, but this book really brought it home in an interesting way. as a bitcoiner it’s also fascinating to consider why eastern philosophy was totally cool with the concept of “zero” and western philosophy was like “🤯”

Don’t give too many shits.
Live free or die.
Aesop
Pre-Socratics
Plato, Aristotle and the golden mean
Ayn Rand
I'll add that I disagree with Plato and Aristotle on a host of matters. Loved the Kung Fu series with David Garradine when I was growing up. In my early teens I was into Schopenhauer + Carl Jung. Later read some Zen Buddhism stories + Osho/Rajneesh also.
Stoicism
Wiccan Rede
Yoga Sutras of Patanjali
Kantian Deontology
Also influenced by the ideas of Any Rand, Carl Jung, and a ton of other thinkers and writers too numerous to list.
The primacy of personal responsibility and freedom are central themes that I've embraced.
