Game night tonight! Any fellow boardgamers out there? Had a rough start to Pandemic Legacy: Season 1, but finally had a win 🥳

Highly recommend legacy style #games! They're best if you have a consistent group of people you can get together with regularly. These games are played in a series, with each play through building on the story and events. Players could write on the board, place stickers altering game play, tear up cards. It's tons of fun.

We've played Pandemic Legacy: Season 0 and 1 (on my 3rd play through), Risk Legacy, Aeons End Legacy, and Machi Koro Legacy.

I'm playing D&D with my neighbors every Tuesday night, and getting my boys into Gloomhaven.

That's great! I need to attempt D&D again. We have Gloomhaven but haven't broken into it yet. That ones a beast lol

Yes it is. Starting with Jaws of the Lion. It's a streamlined intro and I believe you can continue right into the main game.

Our current favorites are Root, Wingspan, and KeyForge.

We have also been playing Stargrave. It’s like Warhammer 40k but for poor people. You only need 10 minis, and you can use any brand including the cheap Reaper minis so the barrier to entry is way less than the bigger tabletop games.

I’m MusicNote in Gloomhaven right now. I think it’s cool how everything has two names, so for a legacy game I’m 20 missions into I can still talk to you on even footing. You will know exactly who MusicNote is, you already have that box exposed, but only will understand after you open the box. I recommend it, and I also recommend the iOS app that is a minder/companion for turn order and the enemy’s deck etc. Get the Lion and play it first.

We play games at every meal with our 4yr old. Mostly different types of cards but sometimes a board game. Chutes and ladders, Kings domino, or A Fistful Of Daisies usually. Party on!

Thats great! We got Kingdomino for Christmas and have been enjoying that. Picked up Queendomino but haven't broken it open yet.

Queens is a lot of fun. A bit too complicated for the kids at the moment.

Tried to teach him cribbage last year, but may need a little while still on that one.
