How about one of these NASA bits on this push cart. This is not zoomed in to a tiny set. These are arm-sized.
They could have used them
I remember being on the tools having to carry 1m long drill bits & getting them stuck in those walls šµāš«
This was the drill bit that cracked it in the end.
He didn't get stuck as far as I know.
