🚨 Please do not use this service 🚨

If you use this service, you are signing up for simple seizure of funds if Ledger willingly (or unwillingly due to gov pressure) decides to collaborate with one of the other storage providers.

Friends don't let friends use Ledger/Recover.

First image shows that Ledger owns the common encryption key that is used to encrypt shards, second image shows Ledger themselves saying how they can give over funds in the event of a subpoena.

using any centralized service for decentralized coin is totally foolish that too a cold wallet

Ledger couldn’t even take care of their marketing list and now they want to store your private key? 😂

There is rumors they know the difference.

jk.

My beef with Ledger isn't this optional feature but the suspicion it could get activated against the will of a targeted individual or all users for that matter. The ledger is closed source.

Don't trust. Always verify!

Ledger is unverifiable.

Ledger Nano devices don't have enough memory to support the recover firmware.
