The way I would like to frame it is, you have to curate and #tune your feed by following interesting accounts. It will take some time, but little by little your experience will get better and better.

Been doing new user outreach in the global feed today and this is the biggest hurdle when coming from Twitter. New users need to be retrained to curate their own feed and put in the work. Most of them expect to see content right away.
